5 May 2011

Axis International Loss Adjusters and Surveyors (Axis) has strengthened its capabilities and commitment to the Caribbean market with the announcement of Martin Goddard as its new associate in Barbados

Martin Goddard will provide adjusting services as part the Axis Caribbean network. He joins Axis’s other Barbadian associate, Ian Kelman of IDEC, in providing Axis representation in the region. In addition to Barbados, the Axis network includes operations in Miami, Jamaica, Trinidad and Cayman.

He has extensive experience of adjusting and surveying property and casualty and catastrophe losses across the Caribbean and has over 20 years experience working as a loss adjuster, claims manager, broker and risk manager in the region.

David Jamison, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Axis, said: “This move continues to demonstrate our commitment to the Caribbean and the focus on delivering strong technical loss adjusting resources and risk surveying services. With one eye on the forthcoming hurricane season Martin joining the network brings additional experienced resource at just the right time.”
